Sand-cast aluminum is what Arthur Court Designs is known for. Inspired by nature, our artisans craft this cool, lustrous metal into themes of plants and animals that add elegance to the dining experience. Arthur Court’s commitment to timeless beauty, artistic integrity and uncompromising quality is evident in the brand’s collection of serveware, barware, home décor and gift items.
Now headed by Creative Director Scott Haas, the company employs the world’s most esteemed designers to develop products that bring function and style into the home.
The current Arthur Court objects range from unique tableware over giftware and barware to home décor and are sold in boutique stores, department stores and galleries worldwide. The broad variety of collections shows the design team’s versatility. Arthur Court Designs is affordable to a wide audience, all lovers of the beaux arts.
All Arthur Court Designs’ products are handmade. No two pieces are ever exactly alike. Not just of beauty and elegance but also of ecologically responsible techniques, our items are known to be one of a kind. Our factory is employee-friendly and just got rewarded for outstanding work safety. The majority of our designs are crafted from 100% recycled materials.
The company today is run by the Haas and Hardy families. The family duo proved their strength and success with Vagabond House, a luxury tabletop and home décor brand specializing in pewter. Both companies are now located in Sierra Madre, CA, and will continue being separate sister companies under one roof. (See www.VagabondHouse.com)
Scott Haas is known in the industry for some of the most unique designs, never compromising quality, always coming up with something better than before.
Haas never studied art. He didn’t study design. Haas is a business major. And even though his right brain told him to “get a proper job”, he followed his heart and joint Vagabond House in 2006. Heading the design department at Vagabond House, within months Haas made the company be known for some of the most outstanding and unique tableware pieces in history. (See www.VagabondHouse.com)
In September 2015, Scott Haas took over Arthur Court Designs.
